"Being a photographer allows me to experience the Florida wetland wilderness in a very intimate way. My goal is to find the remote areas of Florida that remain mostly untouched by man. I imagine these places to look the same as they would have thousands of years ago. These wet jungles and swamps are perfect for the type of images I want to create.

The type of camera I photograph with hasn’t changed much in the past two hundred years. My wooden view camera with eight by ten inch film allows me to capture detail that no digital is capable of, creating very large images that make the viewer feel as though they are there.

It is my hope that by sharing the beauty of our fragile Everglades region, others will become passionate about this beautiful resource which exists in our backyard."
